As Global Director PM, Nancy Schacht will oversee projects throughout the world for satis&fy’s nine offices, located in 3 countries. She will take on this new role after a decade with the company, working within the project management department in many of the world offices and successfully launching the US HQ branches in Portland [Hillsboro] and New York [Brooklyn] - serving as Managing Director.

ALEXANDRA JACQUES, Managing Director – New York [CENTER]

Alexandra joins satis&fy NY as Managing Director with a great passion for watching projects come to life.  “When you are able to ideate, create, and execute an event and then see the fans reaction to it, it is the greatest feeling,” she says after spending years working with some of the highest profile clients and events -- most recently working as the Director of Events for Madison Square Garden. Alex’s main role there was creating activations to promote the teams and properties outside the Garden, including ideating and executing team events to hosting huge fan fest's and more. She has also worked with the US Olympic Committee, Red Bull, and countless other partners over the years.

ELAINE SKINNER, Managing Director – Portland [LEFT]

Elaine Skinner joins satis&fy’s Portland office as Managing Director, yet she is no stranger to the event and retail world. Working on both creative and production teams in the past, partnering with Microsoft, Samsung, and Mini. Most recently, in her role as Managing Director of SET Creative in Amsterdam, she  partnered with Nike and Jordan on massive brand activations across Europe and was fortunate to collaborate with satis&fy.  “I was blown away by the calm, positive energy and team camaraderie. I always felt like I had a partner throughout, working hard with a smile, the perfect combination.” She looks forward to joining the s&f team!

Experience 2015 @satis&fy, AG

Experience 2015 @satis&fy, AG

In 2015, satis&fy AG carried out the biggest ‘Experience’ event to date—both in sheer magnitude and attendance.

Taking advantage of the Fredenhagen Halle warehouse space, our German colleagues developed a massive showcase and a series of vignettes that spoke to the capabilities of the company. From Oculus Rift VR walkthroughs of renders, to the Portland team’s Tech LookBook display—all facets of the team’s work were represented.

It wasn’t all about showing off professional accomplishments, however.

Among other captivating activities, guests were able to hop into an authentic music festival Nightliner from Vienna, dance to the sounds of a live band, and dine on a gourmet selection of refreshments.

Germany does it right.

Puffersphere

Puffersphere

We’ve all heard the phrase, “think outside the box.” It seems one of our engineers might have taken the saying too literally…

Our in-house R&D team loves to bend the rules when it comes to video projection –especially when it deals with pushing the limits of dimension and utilizing unorthodox surfaces to display digital content.

We love a challenge. That’s why we created the Puffersphere: a custom-built, 4’ diameter spherical display, capable of projecting 360 degrees of ultra high-resolution content on its surface. With a total resolution of 2560x1600, the Puffersphere leaves no detail to the imagination.

Selected as the centerpiece for an exhibit in the second largest museum of natural history in Germany, the Puffersphere was outfitted with a custom wireless interface that allowed its contents to be controlled effortlessly via Android device during museum tours.

4k Projection Mapping

4k Projection Mapping - Karben, Germany | Mar 2014

Making a splash at the Prolight + Sound Expo and writing history at the same time, the team at satis&fy pushed the limits of projection mapping– displaying an uncompressed 4k image at 60FPS onto the facade of its headquarters in Karben, Germany. With vendors, clients and business partners in attendance, the spacious paved courtyard fell silent as sheer awe and amazement swept over the audience.

Utilizing a pair of cutting-edge Barco Beta HDQ 4k35 projectors mounted on a semi-trailer across from the main building, the walls appeared to pulsate and evolve to the beat of an epic electronic soundtrack. Shattering the expectations of the audience and showcasing the sheer visual force of the Barco prototypes, a new standard was set in the world of premium projection technology.

T-Claw

Continuously building and tearing down massive installations poses a risk to sensitive surfaces – specifically our trusses and the floors of venues. After 6 months of serious R&D, our team of engineers developed an in-house solution to these reoccurring problems.

Utilizing a pair of jaws that clamp onto two opposing rods on a truss, the T-CLAW is an innovative truss protector that helps prevent sensitive surfaces from incurring damage and allows the hardware to be hauled across floors without the worry of scratching or scraping up venues.

From experience, the team at satis&fy knew that transporting stacked trusses is a tough job; that’s why the T-CLAW was designed to allow the hardware to be stacked neatly and securely – taking payload size specifications into consideration and minimizing the gaps between each stacked truss.

Digital Foosball Table

Digital Foosball Table

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy – a belief held by the team at satis&fy’s R&D labs. A favorite within the company, the Digital Foosball Table takes a futuristic spin on a classic pastime.

The traditional playing field is completely replaced with LCD displays, and the table is outfitted with multiple speakers and video cameras – one of which films the game from a bird’s eye perspective, throwing the action onto an external display. Blurring the lines between virtual reality and real-life, action on the foosball table is translated into an animated 3D simulation. Once the ball is in play, the 3D animation moves along relative to its real-life counterpart, gliding and cutting across a digital soccer stadium in real time.

Not leaving any stone unturned, the engineers took special care to ensure an immersive digital experience… right down to the soccer ball leaving traces on the virtual turf!

Jaguar F- Launch

Jaguar F-Launch @Fredenhagen Halle

The launch of the brand new Jaguar F-Type Coupe in Offenbach was anything but orthodox. Drawing inspiration from slick spy films, the Fredenhagen Halle production warehouse was transformed into an epicenter of action-packed activity, and hosted an experience that merged pulse-pounding live performance with the epic reveal of the new Jaguar automobile.

Within the walls of the 100-year old industrial venue, a team of stuntmen captivated the audience – running, flipping and sliding amid a barrage of special audio and visual effects to escape a vehicle in hot pursuit.  As the action reached its climax, the driver of the mysterious car was revealed – famous German actor, Jürgen Vogel.
