Nike Factory Store - Kansas City

Nike’s new retail space at the historic Country Club Plaza in Kansas City has two distinct goals: blur the lines between brick + mortar and online shopping experiences, and celebrate the vibrant, sport-obsessed, local community.

Tasked to deliver displays and dimensional signage to the groundbreaking location, a team of satis&fy’s best, banded together to fabricate an installation worthy of the KC Royals’ celebrated tagline: “JUST THAT GOOD.”

Brilliantly glowing with the Royals signature blue hue—powered by a neatly hidden internal battery—the initiative zone’s mannequin display pedestal entombed 49 white baseballs inside an acrylic casing. Flanking the pedestal, a pair of upright dimensional displays, clad in the faux-cement vinyl aesthetic found throughout the installation and outfitted with LED backlit acrylic logos of both Nike and the KC Royals.

Within the primary window display, our specialists crafted vinyl-wrapped dimensional frames, engineered to border powerful imagery from the Royals stadium, again utilizing the power of vinyl to bring the “JUST THAT GOOD” tagline to life. Incorporating nearly 600 foam baseballs, the installation’s secondary window was a meticulously constructed nod to the KC Royals, their beloved logo, and the city behind it.

NIKE React @ T23 NY

Always marching forward and keeping the wheels of innovation turning, Nike recently celebrated the launch of their React cushioning technology—a revolutionary, lightweight and durable foam allowing the world’s top athletes to “do more and go further.”

Tasked to prepare Terminal 23 in NYC for the Nike React launch, we curated an experience that spoke to the rigorous, technical hurdles bested by the brand’s innovation teams. Pedestals, screens, and massive images within the space told the story of React technology—the product of 2,000 hours of on-court testing and data collection.

Drenched in red hues, T23’s iconic basketball court was also refreshed, providing the perfect stage for Nike’s React, Hyperdunk, 2017 Flyknit, and Jordan Super.Fly to steal the show.

Samsung S8 Launch @837 NYC

With the release of the S8 and S8+, Samsung set out to “unbox your phone” – a mission statement reflected in the revolutionary redesign of their popular cellular devices. Breaking the traditional confines of the smartphone screen, Samsung’s Infinity Display served as the visual inspiration for our recent installation in Manhattan.

Described by Samsung as “beautifully curved and perfectly symmetrical,” and “pure, pristine, and uninterrupted,” we knew instantly that the S8 Infinity Display’s story would be best told through a series of our bespoke infinity mirrors and projection capabilities.

Throughout Samsung’s 837 NYC location, lightboxes and pedestals – designed and crafted by satis&fy specialists – enveloped the gear on display in a radiant, otherworldly glow. A fleet of infinity mirrors offered visitors a glance into an endless expanse of depth and light, referencing the Infinity Display’s end-to-end screen. At the installation’s core, five layered screens coupled with rear projection capabilities brought an immersive 3D illusion to life.

Air Max Day 2017@NikeTown NY

Air Max Day 2017@NikeTown NY

Inspired by the innovative and controversial “inside out” design of the Georges Pompidou Centre in Paris, the Air Max went against the grain 30 years ago, challenging the archetypes of contemporary footwear design.

On March 26th — better known to sneakerheads as “Air Max Day” — Nike kicked off a string of celebratory events, including a grandiose projection on the Centre Pompidou’s face and interactive consumer experiences in major cities including Milan, Tokyo, and Berlin. Meanwhile at NikeTown NY, the handiwork of satis&fy’s best primed the retail space for the Air family’s latest addition — the Nike Air VaporMax.

Switching gears from the “history lesson” ethos of our recent “Air Max Ultra” installation, the current “VaporMax” makeover gave rise to a polished, modern retail environment — a departure from the preceding design’s vintage aesthetic. Assembled over the course of two days with a crew of 16 satis&fy specialists, the VaporMax installation echoed the Air Max line’s enduring, inventive spirit — embracing the colors and textures that forged the Air Max of today; timeless, elegant, and always on the precipice of tomorrow.

Happy birthday, Air Max — you’ve certainly aged well.

Air Max Ultra @NikeTown NY

In 1987, Tinker Hatfield merged avant-garde design with NASA technology to bring the Air Max to life; three-decades later, the groundbreaking athletic shoe has blossomed into an iconic symbol of street fashion.

With the annual “Air Max Day” celebration right around the corner, we joined forces with Nike once again to deliver a series of retail installations across New York in honor of the shoe’s upcoming 30th anniversary.

Inspired by the rich history and heritage surrounding the Air Max line, NikeTown NY was transformed into a dynamic cache of sneaker lore — an explosion of colors, shapes, and textures unmistakably tied to Tinker Hatfield’s iconic designs. Display cases adorning the walls functioned as both a time capsule and storybook, taking consumers on a neon-lit journey through decades of evolution and reinvention.

At the installation’s core, a glance at the latest offerings from the Air Max line: the Air Max 1 Ultra 2.0 LE and the highly-anticipated Nike Air VaporMax.
