THE PROBLEM \\
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, more and more people are finding themselves working away from their usual office spaces and studying away from their usual academic environments. Not everyone has an existing dedicated space in which to set up their new work/study center when not in the office or at school.

THE SOLUTION \\
Create a unique offering that will provide a work/study space while being away from a normal work environment also keeping in mind that not everyone has an abundance of space to dedicate to this solution.

The Murphy Desk takes a page from the classic Murphy Bed approach -maximizing every inch available. This compact workspace not only acts as a desk when it is open, but can also provided additional wall storage and display surface when closed. This piece was designed with easy assembly in mind. Using friction fit engineering, there are no mechanical fasteners needed to put this together. No special tools or hardware required. In addition to the basic structure, there are areas to add attachments and most surface finishes can be tailored to fit the look and feel desired by the end user.
